What is CodexHorizon?

CodexHorizon is a news aggregator. It monitors public RSS feeds, groups coverage of the same event from different outlets, and writes a summary that cites and links to the originals.

How we access sources

We monitor public RSS feeds from news outlets. When corroborating a story, we may also fetch a public article page. Outbound requests identify themselves as:

• Checks robots.txt before fetching article pages
• Rate-limited requests — we do not hammer source sites
• Public content only — no paywall bypass
• Fetched text is used internally for verification, not republished verbatim

What we publish

Each story on CodexHorizon is a summary built from public sources. We publish:

• An original headline and short lead — not copied from a single outlet
• A multi-source summary that brings together facts from the articles we cite
• A source list with direct links to each original article
• On source cards: outlet name and, when available, the outlet's headline plus a brief attributed excerpt

We do not republish the full text of third-party articles.

Rights and attribution

CodexHorizon publishes summaries with attribution and outbound links. News facts are not copyrightable; original expression belongs to the source outlets. If you believe we misuse your material, use the contact below.

Removal request

Publishers and rights holders can ask to be excluded from our aggregation and summaries:

Include the domain or URLs affected. We aim to respond within 5 business days and apply the exclusion.
